All windows and doors have been replaced with new energy efficient low "E" units. This helped tremendously with excessive heat gain due to the western exposure.
The siding, fascias, exterior trim and deck were also replaced. In the case of the deck there were serious structural concerns so it was removed, reengineered and a new deck was built.
